Shannon Neighbour is an experienced recruiter, having over 5 years of experience in recruitment (being the owner of Shannon Neighbour Recruiting prior to partnering with Chantelle to form Svensen Neighbour Recruiting), and before that, over 10 years in professional business-to-business sales in the media industry as an Account Executive and a General Sales Manager.

Shannon is sitting for the second year as the President of the South Edmonton Business Association (and has been involved with the organization for over 4 years), sits on the NAIT Alumni Association Advisory Committee and volunteers in the community she lives in helping to raise money to build a playground. She is passionate about people and their stories, women’s advocacy and giving back. She also loves tea, documentaries and art.


Chantelle Svensen-Lewis LinkedIn

Chantelle brings extensive experience from the post-secondary industry where she spent over ten years in the development and advancement field, working with both corporate and alumni donors and various stakeholders. Chantelle and her team significantly increased alumni engagement in just under a two-year period through the implementation of a variety of events and initiatives and the redevelopment of the strategic plan for alumni relations.

Chantelle’s experience in coaching, marketing, fundraising, and account management allows her to provide a multi-faceted approach to her client’s human resource needs. She understands the importance of providing exemplary customized customer service and hiring for the right fit.

Passionate about education, Chantelle holds a Master of Business Administration, an undergraduate degree in Political Science, and an honours Marketing diploma. Chantelle has taught in the JR Shaw School of Business as a management sessional instructor, is a volunteer with Junior Achievement Edmonton, sits on the 1000 Women Advisory Committee with Norquest College and is on the Canada150in150 subcommittee. In her free time, Chantelle enjoys travelling, running, and enjoying her daily cup of espresso.
