Transitioning employees can be a sensitive process for both the employer and employee. Svensen Neighbour Recruiting’s consultants work with your organization to provide the support and resources needed to assist both parties through the process.


Transitioning Large Groups

Transiting a large group of individuals is always a difficult task and the decision to do so does not come without extensive review and consideration. Not only does a major layoff impact those employees directly being transitioned, it also affects the culture of the organization and the remaining employees. Our consultants help guide your staff through the process offering resources and support through the transition process.

We provide customized workshops for employees effected by a transition. Employees learn how to job search effectively, prepare resumes, and explore resources for retraining.


Employee Transition Support

Svensen Neighbour Recruiting steps in following the transition meeting between the employee and employer. Our consultants meet with the individual immediately after the transition meeting takes place. During the initial meeting, our consultants provide the individual with an overview of the resources and coaching accessible to them.


Outplacement Services

Our consultants meet with the individual four times over a period of one month (in-person or video conference - 30 min meetings). In addition to these meetings, individuals have access to online resources they can use to help with their job search for a predetermined amount of time.
