Our client in Nisku is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in industrial parts and service. This role will be comprised of 60% new business development and 40% account management.  This role is ideal for someone who has experience selling industrial heavy duty equipment or someone who was has a heavy equipment trades background. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a customer base to sell industrial equipment, services and parts
  • Build strong business relationships with key customers and consumer groups
  • Identify and leverage business opportunities (i.e. new customers)
  • Territory includes Northern Alberta with a 25% travel requirement
  • Grow a designated territory with new accounts and maintain existing relationships

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years outside sales experience or a strong understanding of heavy equipment
  • Experience selling industrial heavy equipment
  • Customer focused, analytical skills, strong business judgment
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong impact and influential abilities
