Our client is looking for a Branch Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in industrial parts, service and sales as well as an operational background. This is a great opportunity for someone with some management or leadership experience who has come from a parts related role and has a strong sales background.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a customer base to sell industrial equipment, services and parts
  • Build strong business relationships with key customers and consumer groups
  • Branch management operations
  • Work with sales department on sales development and retention strategies
  • Work with staff to prioritize branch work flow
  • Manage inventory levels and work closely with vendors
  • Focus on safety and fostering a safe work environment
  • Possibility of some travel throughout the central Alberta region as required (approximately 10%)

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years outside sales experience or a strong understanding of heavy equipment
  • 3+ years of supervisory and/or leadership experience
  • Solid background in industrial parts
  • Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills
  • Experience working with a service department and a sales team
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Operational acumen
  • Proven track record of safety

 

A strong compensation including base salary, bonus and benefits is available based on experience.
