Our client in the non-profit industry is looking to add an Administrative Assistant to their team. This individual will be responsible for bookkeeping, data entry, providing customer service to the internal team, and perform general administrative duties. This individual will report directly to the President. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of bookkeeping, have strong attention to details skills, and be customer focused.


  • Perform bookkeeping duties that include data entry, filing, invoicing and report preparation.
  • Coordinate and perform general office functions
  • Word processing for letters, reports, client correspondence and presentations
  • General filing and archiving, photocopying and other administrative duties as required
  • Providing customer service in a team environment

Experience and Skills:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Previous bookkeeping experience
  • Accurate data entry and typing skills
  • Previous experience using a database or CRM
  • 1 year of experience providing administrative support and customer service in an office setting
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with QuickBooks is considered an asset.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills – positive, outgoing and friendly
  • Good communication skills (listening, speaking and writing), friendly and pleasant manner

This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $32,000 and includes a strong benefits package. Our client is in south Edmonton with easy access to public transportation and offers free parking.
