Reporting to the Controller and CFO, the Credit Manager is responsible for full cycle accounts receivable and credit which includes credit granting, reviews and credit assessment. This individual oversees a team of 8 which includes a supervisor and credit agents.


  • Be the credit lead for the organization and supervise and lead a staff of 8
  • Update and manage the corporate credit policy and develop effective programs and models for credit scoring
  • Provide leadership to direct and indirect reports in the collections department. Hire, train and manage performance of team. Develop and monitor team’s KPIs
  • Credit analysis and reporting for accounts and team
  • Oversee the credit terms approval and process, manage account credit files and perform credit analysis.
  • Work with the organization’s largest accounts on their credit applications and build relationship with key stakeholders
  • Negotiation of collections matters with customers
  • Be the liaison and develop relationships and manage contracts with collection agencies, credit reporting agencies, credit insurance provides, and credit service companies
  • Work closely with the internal sales and customer experience department
  • Manage credit reviews, reconciliations, fees and financing program


  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Management
  • National Association of Credit Management membership is an asset
  • At least 5 years working in credit/collections
  • Experience in collections and accounts receivable in a corporate/collections environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good relationship builder and negotiator
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
