Our client, in the industrial construction supply and maintenance business, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join their team. This individual will manage a designated customer base and territory and develop new accounts and markets while servicing existing business.

Responsibilities

  • Secure new business relationships and sell deeper and wider within existing customer base.
  • Input call information and customer information into CRM system.
  • Meets with clients on a face to face basis at least once per year.
  • Research new business opportunities and develop strategic approaches to engage with potential clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and conduct cold calls over the phone and in person.
  • Create quotes and work with supervisor to assign margins.
  • Negotiate all aspects of the quote/sale process.
  • Travel will be approximately 60% of the role to the northern Alberta and northeast Alberta.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in a technical trade or mechanical, civil or construction engineering.
  • Fluent in reading construction drawings.
  • Strong understanding and application of Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Maximizer.
  • Experience in project management or design experience is considered an asset.Continue
  • Previous industrial sales experience is desired.
  • Relationship oriented and customer focused.
