Our client is looking for an Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This individual will be responsible for advisement, consulting and conducting general HR administration. This position will provide a full range of HR expertise to support the needs of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs all aspects of the human resources function including, advisement, training, labour relations, performance management and administration.
  • Provide support and consultation on compensation, performance management and recruitment.
  • Coordinates a number of projects and department initiatives
  • Supports management by developing and executing strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
  • Develops a plan to streamline HR functions across the company to improve communication
  • Researches and analyzes best practices

 

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources
  • 5 years’ experience in an advisor or generalist role
  • Enjoys building internal relationships as well as being an external ambassador for the organization
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous work with labour relations is considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
