Our client is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Territory Sales Representative. This person will be motivated to exceed their own targets, a true leader in marketing and sales with a strong knowledge and background in welding. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in Edmonton, Northern Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the marketing and sales planning for territory accounts (travel required).
  • Drive new business development and maintain relationships with distributor partners, targeting end-user customers.
  • Support distributors by implementing training programs to ensure they are confident in their knowledge of the products, marketing initiatives, and business processes.
  • Leverage the knowledge of technical specialists and distribution resources to create account plans, strategic plans, and obtaining new leads and new customers.
  • Track and maintain prospects and new clients in CRM.
  • Provide product knowledge and increase demand through demonstrations, presentations, product trials, and cross-selling.
  • Provide exceptional support for existing clients, maintaining and continuously building relationships.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial / industrial sales experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge / experience in welding and welding products.
  • Valid Drivers Licence and ability to travel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with CRM software.

  • A born sales-person, able to confidently present, motivate and sell
  • A highly effective communicator and influencer
  • Confident dealing with people in various levels of organizations
  • Flexible, willing to work outside of regular hours and travel overnight 50% of the time

 

Compensation:

  • The successful candidate will earn a $90,000 base salary, plus variable income
